Flock cameras are spreading across Hampton Roads. Join SHRBA and your local lawmakers for a candid conversation about what that means for your privacy.

Automated license plate readers now sit at intersections and neighborhood entrances throughout Virginia. They record where we drive and when, and they raise real questions about surveillance, civil liberties, and who controls the data. This forum brings the people who write the laws into the same room as the community they serve.

What to expect

  • Hear where your lawmakers stand on camera surveillance and citizen privacy.
  • Ask your own questions during an open exchange with the panel.
  • Connect with the community who care about these issues.

Who should come

Everyone is welcome. This event is free and open to the public. We encourage all community members who want a direct line to the lawmakers shaping privacy policy in Virginia to attend.

Panelists will be announced soon. Our legislative panel is being confirmed. Check back for the full lineup, or RSVP now and we will send you updates as the program is finalized.
